Life Mission Statement

My favorite verse is Philippians 2:5 which says that my attitude should be the same as Jesus.

That just sums it up for me.  It’s my mission statement.  It’s what I strive for every day.  Because if my attitude is the same as Jesus, then I am being obedient to the Spirit just as he was.  If my attitude is the same as Jesus, I am being loving and kind.  If my attitude is the same as Jesus, I am abiding in him.

But, I want to hear from you!  What is your life verse? Why?

2 Peter 1:3 for sure! “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness….”

The idea that He has given us EVERYTHING we need is so comforting! Not just for life, even, but for godliness. It reminds me, when the Christian Life seems terrifying, or impossible, or burdensome, that He has made a way. Purely through offering us knowledge of Him. Wow 🙂
